Help a Child operates in Rwanda with the aim of addressing various challenges faced by children and their communities. Rwanda, without ignoring the progress achieved, still faces challenging poverty-related issues. Help a Child Rwanda focuses on initiatives aimed at poverty reduction and socio-economic resilience to enhance the wellbeing of children and families.
We also empower communities, especially women and youth, by improving access to and quality of education. Help a Child works in collaboration with Ready for School, Pharus, EO Metterdaad, UNICEF, UN Women, World Servants, AEE Rwanda, EPR, and the Government of Rwanda, on youth and early childhood development (ECD) programs. These programs enhance youth vocational training, ECD infrastructure, and parent and teacher training.
